WASHINGTON, March 6 -- Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Lance Gooden (R-TX) and two dozen House Republicans sent a letter to President Biden urging that he recognize the immigration crisis and declare a national emergency at our southern border. This follows reports that U.S. Customs and Border Patrol expect 117,000 unaccompanied children to cross our border this year and that over 3,000 migrants are crossing each day.
