WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Rep. Tim Walberg, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-07) voted against H.R. 1, Speaker Pelosi's overreaching election bill that expands the federal government's role in the election process. This partisan legislation will impose costly mandates for publicly funded campaigns, make it harder to ensure voter integrity, and undermine free speech and the First Amendment.
