WASHINGTON, March 4 -- Rep. Filemon Vela, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Filemon Vela (D-TX) announced that a total of nearly $20 million has been awarded to the City of Raymondville and Hidalgo County from the Texas General Land Office (GLO) for 2015 flood mitigation projects. Hidalgo County will receive $9,858,499 for phase one of the main floodwater channel expansion project and the City of Raymondville will receive $10 million for drainage and wastewater . . .
