TOPEKA, Kansas, March 3 -- The Kansas Association of School Boards issued the following news:
On Monday evening Dr. Miguel Cardona of Connecticut was confirmed by the U.S. Senate to be Secretary of Education by a bipartisan vote of 64 to 33. Kansas Senator Jerry Moran voted yes on the nomination; Senator Roger Marshall voted no.
Cardona is expected to be sworn into office by Vice President Kamala Harris this evening.
He replaces Trump Administration Secret . . .
