House Appropriations Committee Chair Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) issued this statement on the U.S. Senate vote to acquit former President Trump on an impeachment charge of inciting an insurrection:
"Former President Trump incited a violent insurrection against the United States that caused carnage and mayhem and resulted in the death of seven individuals and coun . . .
