BEAUMONT, Texas, Feb. 11 -- The Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas, Nicholas J. Ganjei, issued the following news release on Feb. 10, 2021:
A 30-year-old Beaumont, Texas engineer pleaded guilty today for filing fraudulent bank loan applications seeking more than $10 million dollars in forgivable loans guaranteed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
