WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 -- Rep. Mikie Sherrill, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on Feb. 5, 2021:
Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) today voted for the bipartisan National Apprenticeship Act to expand the Registered Apprenticeship Program, streamline access for workers and employers, and better protect apprentices. The legislation will help create an estimated one million new apprenticeship positions nationwide over the next five years.
