Following the announcement that Siemens Energy in Olean, NY plans to halt manufacturing and cut over half of the plant's workforce, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand released the following statement:
"These job cuts are devastating to Cattaraugus county, especially when rural communities have already been hit hard by the economic crisis.
