WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 -- Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Thursday evening, in a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) demanded that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) apologize for effectively accusing his friend and former boss, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), of attempted murder earlier that day via tweet.
"If Representative Ocasio-Cortez does not apologize immediately, we will be forced to find alternative means to conde . . .
