WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 -- Rep. Lisa McClain, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
This week, Congresswoman Lisa McClain (R-MI) introduced legislation that would prohibit the sale of fetal tissue following an abortion.
The Safe Responsible, Ethical Scientific Endeavors Assuring Research for Compassionate Healthcare (RESEARCH) Act would amend Section 498A of the Public Health Act to include fetal tissue may be used for research purposes, but only if it is obtained . . .
