NEW BRUNSWICK, New Jersey, Jan. 29 -- Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey issued the following news:

Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state's only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, has treated its first upper tract urothelial cancer patient with a recently approved therapy option known as mitomycin gel, which is the first non-surgical treatment for this type of disease.
