WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 -- Rep. Brenda Lawrence, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Brenda L. Lawrence (MI-14) joined her House colleagues in introducing the Raise the Wage Act of 2021. The legislation would gradually increase the federal minimum wage to $15 by 2025. Thereafter, the federal minimum wage would be indexed to median wage growth.
