WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 -- Rep. David Cicilline, D-Rhode Island, issued the following news release on Jan. 25:
The Congressional LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus today expressed its appreciation for the steps taken by the Biden Administration to reverse the harmful ban on transgender people serving openly in the military. This policy, which has harmed both the individuals impacted and the nation's security, is overdue for reversal.
