WASHINGTON, Jan. 21 -- Rep. Chris Jacobs, R-New York, issued the following statement on Jan. 20:

"I am deeply saddened by the news of the National Guard helicopter crash in Mendon this evening that resulted in the loss of three lives.
"My prayers are with the loved ones of these service members lost.
