BEAUMONT, Texas, Jan. 20 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas, Stephen J. Cox, issued the following news release on Jan. 19:
United States Attorney Stephen J. Cox announced that he will step down from his post as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas (EDTX) effective 11:59 p.m. today, January 19.
