AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 20 -- The Environment Texas Research and Policy Center issued the following news release on Jan. 19:
The Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary, the only known nursery in the world for manta rays and important feeding grounds for sea turtles, sharks and many species of fish, will officially be expanded by 104 square miles, according to the final rule announced today by the National Marine Fisheries Service.
