WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Texas, issued the following news release:

The Texas Congressional Democratic Delegation sent a letter to Governor Greg Abbott, requesting the prioritization of low-income individuals and households for COVID-19 vaccine distribution. The delegation released the following statement:
