NEWARK, New Jersey, Jan. 15 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on Jan. 14:
U.S. Senator Bob Menendez and 14 democratic colleagues today called for the Department of Defense to investigate and address white supremacy and extremist ideology in the ranks of the military following the attack on the U.S. Capitol last week. Several of the insurrectionists who attacked the Capitol have been identified as active duty servicemembers, reservists, retirees . . .
