NEW YORK, Jan. 12 -- The National Basketball Association issued the following news release:
The Greensboro Swarm selected Admiral Schofield (6-5, 241, Tennessee) with the first overall pick of the 2021 NBA G League Draft on Monday afternoon, which was held virtually. In 2019-20, Schofield played 33 games with the Capital City Go-Go where he averaged 16.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists. He also played in 33 games for the Washington Wizards.
