WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 -- Rep. Paul D. Tonko, D-New York, issued the following news release on Jan. 8:

Congressman Paul D. Tonko announced today that Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is being awarded $233,776 to study the effects of gene mutations that cause Alzheimer's Disease.
