NEW YORK, Jan. 8 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics - New York-New Jersey Regional Information Office issued the following report on Jan. 7:
Over 140,000 nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses were reported among New York's private industry employers in 2019, resulting in an incidence rate of 2.2 cases per 100 full-time equivalent workers, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
