WASHINGTON, Dec. 23 -- The American Lung Association issued the following statement on Dec. 21 by President and CEO Harold Wimmer in response to the release of the Transportation and Climate Initiative Memorandum of Understanding signed by the governors of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island and the mayor of Washington:
