WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following news release on Dec. 21:
U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) today announced that the COVID relief deal the Senate will vote on tonight provides $600 recovery checks to all citizens earning up to $75,000 per year, including citizens married to foreign nationals who were left out of the last round of $1,200 recovery checks in the CARES Act. In addition, these citizens will be eligible for the initial round of recovery . . .
