WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 -- Rep. Nita M. Lowey, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following news release on Dec. 20:
The House today passed, on a bipartisan 329 to 65 vote, a continuing resolution to extend federal government funding through Monday to complete action on appropriations, authorizations, and coronavirus relief.
