WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Rep. Nita M. Lowey, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following news release on Dec. 18:
The House today passed, on a bipartisan 320 to 60 vote, a continuing resolution to extend federal government funding through Sunday and allow coronavirus relief negotiations to conclude.
