IRVING, Texas, Dec. 17 (TNSAwa) -- The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame issued the following news release on Dec. 16:

The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced today that Don McPherson, a College Football Hall of Fame inductee from Syracuse and a leading advocate for the prevention of gender-based violence, will be the 2020 recipient of the NFF Outstanding Contribution to Amateur Football Award.
