WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 -- Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-New York, issued the following news release:

Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), Co-Chair of the Long Island Sound Caucus, announced he secured language in Congress' upcoming spending bill to permanently repeal the federal law to sell Plum Island to the highest bidder.
