SAN DIEGO, California, Dec. 15 -- The U.S. Navy's Chief of Naval Operations issued the following news release:
The U.S. Navy has identified the deceased Sailor assigned to USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), who went missing Dec. 10, as Texas native Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Apprentice Ethan Garrett Goolsby.
Goolsby reported to Theodore Roosevelt in July following initial training as an aviation ordnanceman in Pensacola, Fla., and was promoted to his current rank Sept. 1 . . .
