ALBANY, New York, Dec. 11 -- The New York State Association of Counties issued the following news release:
With COVID-19 infection rates spiking, businesses facing another round of shutdowns and vaccine planning underway, a bipartisan group of 12 County Executives came together to call for Congress to pass emergency stimulus legislation that provides direct, unrestricted, and flexible federal aid to the county governments who are leading the local response to the pandemic.
