NEW YORK, Nov. 21 -- The Center for Reproductive Rights issued the following news release on Nov. 20:
Today, a 6th Circuit Court of Appeals panel granted a request from the state of Tennessee, letting part of a law take effect that prohibits abortion based on a patient's reason, including a potential Down syndrome diagnosis or the sex or race of the fetus. These "reason bans" were signed into law in July as part of a larger abortion bill that also contains a series of gest . . .
