WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 -- Rep. Cynthia Axne, D-Iowa, issued the following news release on Nov. 19:
Today, Rep. Cindy Axne's (IA-03) colleagues unanimously elected her to represent the Midwest as a Regional Whip in the House Democratic Caucus for the upcoming term.
Rep. Axne will serve as one of two Regional Whips that represent the delegations of Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin in the 117th Congress beginning January 4, 2020.< . . .
