New Jersey U.S. Attorney: Former Resident of Bergen County Admits Role in $1.5 Million Investment Fraud Scheme

NEWARK, New Jersey, Nov. 18 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Craig Carpenito, issued the following news release on Nov. 17:

A former New Jersey resident today admitted participating in an investment scheme through which he fraudulently obtained $1.525 million from at least three families from 2017 through 2019, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
