NYU Winthrop Hospital to Be Renamed NYU Langone Hospital - Long Island

NEW YORK, Nov. 10 -- NYU Langone Health, an academic medical center affiliated with New York University, issued the following news release on Nov. 9:

NYU Langone Health today announced that NYU Winthrop Hospital will change its name to NYU Langone Hospital--Long Island, pending approval from the New York State Department of Health. The new name further solidifies the hospital's full integration into one of the country's premier healthcare systems, NYU Langone Health.
