BUFFALO, New York, Oct. 31 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York, James P. Kennedy Jr., issued the following news release on Oct. 29:
U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Brian Thomas, 60 of Elmira, NY, pleaded guilty before Chief U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr. to possessing child pornography. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, a lifetime period of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.
