NEW YORK, Oct. 17 -- The 350.org issued the following joint statement on Oct. 16 with six organizations:

Today, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), the largest banking institution in Japan, released its Sustainability Report (Japanese version only), stating its goal of erasing US$3.58 billion loan balances for coal-fired power projects . . .
