NEW YORK, Oct. 15 -- The Center for Reproductive Rights issued the following news release on Oct. 14:
Today, a federal district court struck down a Tennessee law that forced patients to wait at least 48 hours before they can access abortion services, after receiving in-person, state-mandated counseling written by anti-abortion politicians.
