ST. PETERSBURG, Florida, Oct. 15 -- Rep. Charlie Crist, D-Florida, issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Charlie Crist announced two grants totaling $149,674 to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, aiding in local efforts to rescue and rehabilitate Florida's manatee population.
Specifically, Clearwater Marine Aquarium will receive $77,879 to increase manatee rescue efforts through the use of new technology to expand capacity and collect health and life histo . . .
