BROOKLYN, New York, Oct. 15 -- The Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Seth D. DuCharme, issued the following news release on Oct. 14:
Earlier today, in federal court in Brooklyn, J&F Investimentos SA (J&F), a global conglomerate holding company based in Brazil and primarily involved in the meat and agriculture businesses, pleaded guilty to conspiring to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and agreed to pay a criminal fine of more than $25 . . .
