Hastings (D-FL) recently led a letter to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Sonny Perdue and USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) Administrator Pam Miller, calling on them to use the authorities provided to them in H.R.8337, the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021, to extend flexibilities for essential school meal programs that nourish children . . .
