SARASOTA, Florida, Oct. 6 -- Rep. W. Greg Steube, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
U.S. Representatives Greg Steube (R-Fla.) and Brian Mast (R-Fla.) sent a letter to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) advising against the use of dangerous chemicals for controlling invasive species in Lake Okeechobee and reminding the Corps of FY21 appropriations languages recommending safer alternatives, like mechanical harvesting.
