NEW YORK, Sept. 4 -- The Natural Resources Defense Council issued the following news release:
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) proposed a regulation that changes the process for considering critical habitat exclusions under the Endangered Species Act.
The proposal would decrease designation of critical habitat based on economic costs, making way for developers, states, and local governments to prioritize oil and gas development and other industry over the value . . .
