NEW YORK, Sept. 4 -- New York Civil Liberties Union issued the following news release on Sept. 3:
A federal court yesterday halted unconstitutional practices in bond hearings at the Buffalo and Batavia immigration courts that had resulted in the jailing of hundreds of people.
