NEW YORK, Sept. 4 -- The Carnegie Corporation of New York issued the following news release:

Kim Lew, vice president and chief investment officer of Carnegie Corporation of New York, who helped maximize the investment portfolio of the Corporation's $3.5 billion endowment into a leading performer in the nonprofit sector, will step down in October.
