NEW YORK, Sept. 4 -- The Drug Policy Alliance issued the following news release on Sept. 3:
As the California Legislature wrapped up its session yesterday, the Drug Policy Alliance (DPA) announced the passage of its Pharmacy Access bill (AB 2077) by Assemblymember Phil Ting. The DPA-sponsored measure extends the statutory sunset date of the pilot for another five years, protecting pharmacist's discretion to furnish sterile syringes without a prescription and allowing adult possessio . . .
