NEW YORK, Sept. 2 -- LatinoJustice PRLDEF issued the following joint news on Sept. 1:
The Power 4 Puerto Rico coalition and partners formally endorsed the Puerto Rico Self-Determination Act of 2020 (H.R. 8113), a bill that recognizes the inherent authority of the people of Puerto Rico to call for a Constitutional Assembly on Status and sets up a "semi-permanent" Congressional response mechanism.
