NEW YORK, Aug. 27 -- The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued the following news release on Aug. 25:

Baccarat, Inc., which operates a retail store in Manhattan that sells luxury crystal products, will pay $100,000 and furnish other relief to settle a lawsuit for employment discrimination filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today. The EEOC had charged Baccarat with harassing a sales consultant at its Manhattan store . . .
