RENSSELAER, New York, Aug. 12 -- Riverkeeper issued the following news release:
New York State has denied two essential permits for a proposed waste processing facility that would sit on top of a capped toxic waste site next to the Hudson River - effectively halting the project in its tracks until its environmental impacts are properly examined.
