SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Aug. 6 -- Southwest Research Institute issued the following news release:
Southwest Research Institute has been awarded $764,000 in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) to develop a zero-emission fossil fuel power plant that incorporates a supercritical carbon dioxide (sCO2) power cycle, renewable energy, oxygen storage and carbon capture.
SwRI is leading one of 12 teams that received a compet . . .
