NEW YORK, Aug. 5 -- The Federal Reserve Bank of New York issued the following news release on Aug. 4:
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York today released a brief discussing the effects of COVID-19 on Black communities and Black-owned businesses in particular. The brief looks at why Black-owned firms have been almost twice as likely to shutter as firms overall during the pandemic.
The study draws on epidemiological data on COVID-19 cases, Census data on business location . . .
