University of Nebraska Medical Center Research Awards Top $174 Million, Up 26% From Prior Year

OMAHA, Nebraska, Aug. 4 -- The University of Nebraska Medical Center issued the following news release:

The University of Nebraska Medical Center has set another record for research funding from external sources, topping $174.2 million for fiscal year 2020, a 26% increase from the previous year's record $138 million.

As in previous years, most of the grant sources -- 69% -- are funded by federal sources, and of those, most are from the National Institutes of Health.
